WIN, which is sponsored by Egon Zehnder, is an independent women’s leadership organization that aims to develop, empower and connect women worldwide with a feminine, authentic and global vision. In his address Ensser urged women to aim for “center-stage” and focus on building careers in functions with a direct impact on earnings, instead of in support functions like communications/marketing or HR. He noted that progress has been made with diversity, which is now widely recognized as a strategic advantage, but advised women to more actively seek a dialogue with their superiors and to focus on networking in order to advance their careers.
